The 52nd edition of Filo will be focused on sustainability. Indeed, the development of FiloFlow continues at a fast pace, aiming at increasing the sensitivity of the companies towards the implementation of sustainable textile production processes.
FiloFlow will be then at the core of the 52nd edition of Filo. Starting obviously from the trend area, where there will be set a special ‘Sustainability Area’ that will show the products of exhibiting companies carried out through the processing that meet specific sustainability criteria. In order to participate in the FiloFlow project, the Filo’s exhibiting companies should fill the questionnaire that has been sent from Filo’s management. The questionnaire gathers some information about the company (type, size, relationships and communication with the stakeholders – as for example the drawing up of a sustainability report) and about production practices: raw materials that are employed, supply chain traceability, energy consumption, chemical management, waste management, environmental monitoring and implication within ethic-social activities. The participation in the project of the exhibiting companies is voluntary and based on self-certification.
