Filo is the only international b2b trade show dedicated to yarns and fibers both for orthogonal and circular weaving. Filo starts in 1993, launched by a small group of committed entrepreneurs from the Biella district, worldwide famous for its textile industry. From the beginning Filo fashioned a clearly recognisable identity. Each of its features is strategically aimed to highlight the excellence of yarns and products from the most innovative Italian and worldwide companies

Free wi-fi is available in each stand during the trade show, included set up day

IT support

A dedicated IT manager is available to help companies in setting up and connecting computers during the trade show, included set up day

Press office

Located in the Filo Lounge, Filo press office is ready to help exhibitors organize meetings with journalists and to write companies’ press releases (if required). After the trade show the PO releases  a press review including reportages, interviews and news about Filo.

International Magazines

European and worldwide trade magazines are available for free at the Filo Lounge and at special “magazine corners”

Filo Lounge

A space reserved for exhibitors, provided with work stations and wi-fi. It’s designed to stage b2b follow-ups or informal meetings with clients, buyers or journalists. The free coffee bar offers relaxing time-off from business.

Filo Happening

The opportunity to discuss relevant topics about the textile-fashion system is set at the late hours of the first day of exhibition. Influential and distinguished speakers offer their point of view to exhibitors, buyers and journalists and are open to in-depth discussions with the audience.

Filo Cocktail

After business-hours and an instructive round-table, here is the time to relax. However, as everything about Filo, Filo cocktail is designed to be still a new opportunity for business: the right place and time to exchange views with buyers, Italian and foreigner journalists, Filo staff and Filo Happening speakers.

it’s for free for visitors and buyers; two pages for each company describe its core business and production, including company’s contacts. Texts are in Italian and English

In the centre of Milan, the venue is the ideal location for Filo, the international b2b yarns and fibres trade show.

Right in front of Leonardo’s Last Supper Museum and Santa Maria delle Grazie Basilica, rich of history and tradition Palazzo “delle Stelline” embodies the values of hospitality. The venue neighbours the “Orti di Leonardo”, the Renaissance master’s vineyards.
Overlooking a 17th Century cloister, the exhibition enjoys warm natural light, to better show the quality of yarns.

Filo venue is easy to reach from Milan railway stations and airports. Nearby the exhibition, a wide range of top level hotels and restaurants offer their services

The access of private cars and commercial vehicles to the historical center of Milan is limited by the Congestion Charge area.
